    Impacts Of Racial Bullying In The Medical Industry

    Every organization seeks to move forward with time. However, some factors tend to pull them down. This may be regarding social, economic and environmental factors. Racial bullying in the medical industry is one of these factors. These practices are brought about by some factors. While others undertake the practice out of hate other will indulge in them to prove their supremacy. The impacts of these are far felt by all parties involved.

    Fear develops on the individuals that the actions are done to them over time. In the start, it feels a regular thing, but with time, the realization that it is wrong weighs them down. One fears to face those who practice it in their workplace. The results may be loss of the employee as they try searching for a better workplace or deterioration of their quality of service.

    It also develops guilt on the individual. The act has a direct consequence on the confidence of an individual. When an individual lowers their self-esteem guilt sets in, they question themselves and in the long run feel guilty. In an attempt to escape from the guilt some may end up taking their lives or changing the place of work.

    An organization also gets to suffer a big blow as it has to go through a lot of expenses regarding time and funds. They have to correct the effect caused by poor performance by the employees as a result of this. Additionally, costs are incurred as they try to bring the parties in conflict together.

    Another thing that happens to the persons is that they suffer from depression and traumas. Stress is eminent as an individual feels guilty plus the development of fear. Whenever the condition is not corrected in time, they suffer from depression and traumas. The result of this is the loss of valuable employees to an organization and also affect the quality of services they offer the public.

    Patients are not left out in the war. Some may be discriminated regardless of the condition they are in. The discrimination leads to loss of lives and development of more complicated situations than they had before. At some instances, the impact might fall on them as the parties war each other, where negligence comes in thus affecting the patients. The organization suffers adversely as it tries to correct these impacts on the clients.

    In other extents, it may go to the extent of harming each other from doubts. Experts working together get to doubt each other and trust, harmony and love fade away between them. The results of the elimination of these elements are usually fights be it physical or career-related. The effect falls on both the organization and the clients being served.

    Lastly, the image and reputation of a facility are destroyed. Customers tend to spread word each time they receive services from an organization. Therefore, when they witness bad things in an organization, they go about covering the bad news in a society. Moreover, the employees may engage in fights even on the outside. Whenever these happen, the reputation of the facility is negatively painted.
